Carefully woven into the fabric of the campus, across from the historic Old Main building is this contemporary computer sciences building. Concrete sculpture is evident in the brise soleil with playful interludes of stairs, walkways, doors and windows. The primary frame is concrete columns and beams with pan joists. Intricate detailing of the structural framing close collaboration with the contractor were hallmarks of the success of the frame.
