This building exemplifies true collaboration between the City of Austin and the Austin Independent School District. Each has it’s wing of the building as well as shared facilities conjoined near the middle. Creative use of concrete tilt wall panels and curved roofs with bar joist framing were key structural features in this economical and sustainably designed project.
